"Tak! Yushchenko!"

Ok, so I've been trying to decide how I'm gonna decorate my room in my new 4 bedroom way-too-much-money-a-month apartment. I mean, if I'm gonna pay like $1300 a month to live in it, i'd better freakin' like my room, don't ya think?

So, I thought, maybe the Justice League? But after I realized that
a) it was all masculine [the stuff i could find]
b) it wasn't serious enough

I moved on.

I really want to do some kind of justice theme. I thought - as a beginning stepping stone - that I could do like black and white solid bedding, and spell out "SEEK JUSTICE" in those wooden letters parents usually use to spell their kids names on the walls. But after I spent a couple of hours looking for bedspreads and found nothing, I decided to move onto phase two: THE POSTERS. See, I really, REALLY want to put justice themed posters all over the place. So, I spent a great deal of time today hunting down posters. I found all kinds of stuff and it made me happy. And then, since I was having such good luck [I mean, I even found a poster that says: "Justice: Just Do It" How much luckier could I be???] I decided to go for broke. As a student of both Justice and International Relations, any of my friends could testify to how much I LOVE the Orange Revolution Victor Yushchenko is like MY HERO. Yes, he is in fact, right up there with Condi. [And they both speak GREAT Russian. Coincidence, I think not...] Since about February, I've been hunting for Orange Revolution paraphanilia. You know, posters, campaign stuff, shirts, ANYTHING. And I've had a just HORRID time locating anything. Today, I got lucky. I found out what the slogan for Mr. Y was in Ukranian "Tak! (Yes!) Yushchenko!" and I incorporated that into my search. When I searched in French and Spanish I was FINALLY able to secure sites which led me eventually to being able to bid on E-bay for A WHOLE COLLECTION OF ORANGE REVOLUTION PARAPHANALIA. Not even joking. This was an ENTIRE COLLECTION on sale by a guy - an Ukranian - and each piece is ACTUALLY FROM THE REVOLUTION. Posters, flyers, stickers, flags AHHHH!!! OH THE JOY!! I'm the only bidder and I bid like 20 dollars!!! [My maximum bid - way higher but NOT THE POINT!!] OH, VICTORY IS MINE!!!

    Movie Night

Friday night is usually movie night at my house, and tonight was no different. My dad and my mom and I watched Down WIth Love in the den...I love the movie, my mom does too. My dad hadn't seen it before. And even though it is incredibly predictible - the romantic subplot IS the plot, it's still cool. And not to play up my long past Senior Dinner Speech, the soundtrack is WICKED SICK. Not joking. Man I love the apple iTunes Store. Any song, ninety-ninety cents man. Seriously.

    And She Bounces Back!

Well, I went to work today, although I still hadn't eaten. I had three rice cakes while I was there though, and some 7UP while Damian and I did inventory. Basically, we're gonna start closing files but before we can do that, we have to take inventory of all the files already back there. I can't begin to tell you how boring it was, but no matter. I finally ate some toast tonight, and kept it down! I'm super excited. Melanie says I have to be better since they're coming soon and she's for shizzle right. My dad and I made some CD mixes tonight, he likes Punk music, and Alternative, suprisingly enough.

I'm exhausted [no food] so I gotta go. There will be more tomorrow!! :-)

    Yuck!

Well, I am definately not so much well. I have a really bad stomach virus - it's disgusting actually. My stomach physically aches. Melanie called today and as we chatted I definately neglected to tell her. When she calls back later tonight though I'll probably be too sick to hide it. I feel disgusting. I tried to eat a little while ago [steamed rice] and upchucked. Potatoe? Same...toast...no such luck. I suck.

Brandon [my former partner] took that job working for a camp this summer. I'm so proud. He called me today from the road and when he got there. I guess I'd better start workin' on his Camp Package! Everyone who goes to summer camp needs a package, seriously - otherwise mail call would stink!

Something cool did happen today at the house though, and I would have missed it entirely had I gone to work. Our air conditioner starting leaking through the hall closet. Water EVERYWHERE...seriously. It was not pleasent. See, we have wooden lamenant and without warning WATER on it is so not good. My mom was DEFINATELY not in a good mood. It was ugly y'all...for realz.

Well pain + no food = sleep.

    Sunday Morning

Now, first of all, we could all be cool for a second and imagine I'm like Justin Scott and all my titles come from song lyrics, but I am in fact NOT THAT COOL. Well, it's official, ladies and gentlemen: I have a shin splint in my right leg and it hurts like the dickens, but I digress.

So today I taught Sunday school and it was a blast! We learned about the history of Joshua and then watched the Veggie Tells episode about Joshua and the big wall. It was pretty cool. I will be teaching class on Wednesday night for 1 1/2 hours starting this week. It's sort of a summer series thingy, I'm having trouble deciding what the topic should be however. I think I'm gonna do Heroes of the OT though, and I think we'll start with Gideon, what do you guys and gals think?

I am at this moment, talking to my best friend of like 9 years and friend for longer - he doesn't have a job yet. I'm scared. He's like a freggin' genius [I mean, he makes me look like a moron seriously]. I wish there was something I could do to help him, but I'm afraid there really isn't much.

I'm just puttin' the Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe onto my iPod, along with The Hobbit. One MUST be prepared for work, seriously. It's for real borrin'! :-) Sheesh I'm tired.
