King Babar
Ok so I heart Babar. He's an elephant. To be completely correct, he's a young elephant and he's a King. It's a French cartoon - my mother and father showed me as a young child. I LOVE IT. And it's definately ON TV AS WE SPEAK. Oh I heart it. :-)
It's so cute...
I have a stuffed Babar somewhere...now off to find it.

Last Song For A While I Promise
Hallelujah
Rufus Wainwright
I heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift, the baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu----jah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof, you saw her bathing on the roof, her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair, she broke your throne, she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu----jah
Maybe I have been here before, I know this room; I have walked this floor, I used to live alone before I knew you
I've seen your flag on the marble arch, love is not a victory march, it's a cold and its a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu----jah
There was a time you let me know whats really going on below, but now you never show it to me, do you? (and)
Remember when I moved in you; the holy dark was moving too, and every breath we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu----jah
Maybe there's a God above, and all I ever learned from love was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
And its not a cry you can hear at night, its not somebody who's seen the light, its a cold and its a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu--jah
Hallelujah

Toast is Serious?
Hey so yah - I didn't know you could have a serious song that makes reference to toast...but I guess I was wrong.
Lay Down the Burden of Your Heart
Acappella
It's a cold, cold world, that we're walking through,
Lay down the burden of your heart.
But it's warm as toast, walking two by two,
Lay down the burden of your heart.
Chorus:
Lay down the burden of your heart,
I know you'll never miss it.
Show your Father where it hurts,
And let your Father lift it.
Its a fine, fine line betwix love and hate,
Why, it's tough to tell the two apart.
But you'll know it's love that He offers you,
Lay down the burden of your heart.
Repeat Chorus (x2)
Show your Father where it hurts,
And let your Father lift it.
Scriptural Reference:
"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29
