Goodness

So the first week of school is OFFICIALLY OVER. I'm so excited about my last semester here at ACU. I mean, I'm not excited that I'm leaving, but I'm excited that I'm graduating. This week has been a blast so far. This past weekend, I judged the Abilene High Speech and Debate Tournament [for free] because it is something our squad does as a favor to Abilene High. About half of my team showed up to put in the hours also, and Casey went to. He judged Ted Turner debate and extemp, and watched one CX round with me. He totally had a blast, and enjoyed Ted Turner debate a bunch. He has been thinking about joinin' the team, and I think that put him over the line.

Friday night, the last round was over at like 11:00 at night, and I dropped everyone off at home and got all the way back to my apartment before I realized I was STARVING. So, when Casey called and said he was going to Taco Bell and should he pick me up, I was like, UM YAH! So, we got some Taco Bell - NOT my fav but u know, this IS Abilene - and watched the Emperor's New Groove till like 1:30 or something in the morning. Probably not a genius thing to do, as we had to be at Abilene High by 7:45 the next morning, but we made it. After the tourny on Saturday was over, Casey and I met Gudgel and Cheryl for dinner @ the Cotton Patch, and then we watched The Bachelor. Afterwards, we talked till about 12:00, and then Gudge and Cheryl went home. Casey and I stayed up till 1:00 or so, and then to bed I went and he went home.

This morning I went to the 8:00 am service @ Highland, like always, and went home and went to sleep. I was supposed to eat lunch with him @ 12:30 after he got out of church, but I fell asleep. So, when he called @ 12:30 I was like,"um...hello? Oh hi Casey. Yes, yes I am sleeping, but only kinda. No, I didn't forget, yes I'm coming." Subway, mm...Tuna on wheat with bannana peppers, olives and tomatos. Yes!!

The Eagles beat the Vikings, I'm upset...Casey's extatic and Tim is waiting for the Patriots to win a Superbowl. Sorry dude, not gonna happen.

I'm @ Extemp Lab now, so I'd better go.

Back to School

Well, I arrived back @ ACU Saturday evening @ about 6:45 pm or so. Brandon Lemely and I snagged some dinner @ the Olive Garden and then went tie shopping @ Stienmart (or however you spell it) and then to Hastings to buy books for Debate. We totally got this killer book that I wanted, but Brandon grabbed it first - darn him. We went back to my apartment, and Casey met us there. Casey and I talked about stuff while he helped me unapack and we listed to the music [his CD] that the band is playing for TMEA. It was pretty wicked.


Sunday, I went to the early service and met Brandon and Casey for Lunch @ 12:30 @ Rosa's [DON'T GO - I HATE IT...BUT I BET YOU ALL LOVE IT DON'T YOU...JERKS]. Then, I went to HEB and a couple of other places for errands. Since it was sunny, I went rollerbladdin' for a while. Then I went over to Adam Powell's to jam with Tommy Butler for a while. He definately was in town for a couple of days. Then, I picked up Tyler for our dinner meeting @ 5:30. Layne, Sarah, Tyler, Suzanne, Keith and Myself were all there. Only Mel couldn't be there. Afterwards, Tyler and I went to Starbucks [drive-thru] and then to Target to shop for Tylers curtains. [He called them drapes.] We bought Mel a "we are sorry you had back surgery and are sore" present. We took it to her and Tyler went home afterwards. Then, Casey and Gudgel came over to see Tommy who came over too. Finally, I went to sleep.

I like my classes so far, I only have two on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. They are both reading intensive, but cool. But, more later ok?

@ My Uncles!

So I'm at my uncle's house and I'm chillin. We left yesterday afternoon at about 1:30 and now we're here. I went shopping with my cousin CJ @ the Parks Mall today, and we had WAY too much pizza for dinner. More laterz, K?? BUT, I BOUGHT THE NEW INVADER ZIM SATCHEL!!

So I'm obsessed with music, for those of you who DON'T KNOW. And guess what, oh wait, did my Nerf Herder CD come in today? Oh wait, IT DID. Oh yah, song about debate! Oh yah, NATIONALS HERE I COME. MY ULTIMATE DEBATE LIST IS COMPLETE AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING OUT ACCORDING TO MY MASTER PLAN!!

Ok, That's IT!

Ok, so I keep posting and posting on here since the snow on Christmas, but IT'S NOW SHOWING UP even though I'm saving it. I'm annoyed and I don't remember any of my past brilliance so TOUGH CRUD if you are THAT interested in my life [aka. YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE ONE]. Today was my first day of my last week of work before I start my last SEMESTER of UNDERGRAD. Oh ya, I can SMELL THAT DIPLOMA.

Well, It's the New Year...Hmmm

Wellz everyone, it is in fact the new year. It is 2005, and man, I feel old. Well, I had to go to work yesterday, but the office was only open for half a day. Then my friends and I went to TGI Friday's for lunch, gotta love that Jack Daniels sauce, man those ribs are good. [That was for you partner!] Then, we went to play pool and video games for a while. When I got home, my cousin and I jammed for a while and then, she and I watched the Ring. That was scary - and Erika was terrified. I feel asleep before midnight though, whilst watching Freaky Friday [the ORIGINAL with Jodi Foster, not that Lindsay Lohan crap]. I'm sorry, I was tired, and it was 11:45 or so. Anyways, I haven't really done anything all day. I made Blueberry muffins for breakfast, and watched Stars Wars Episodes V & VI, You've Got Mail & now Erika and I are watching Runaway Bride. We played Lotteria for a while earlier, but now my dad and Jon and Joshua are playing Texas Hold 'Em. The Longhorns won the Rose Bowl today, and pretty much it's been a good day. Now if ONLY my Nerf Herder "American Cheese" CD would come in at the Barnes & Noble down the street already, life would be good.
