Yesterday afternoon we clebrated my baby brother's 13th Birthday and I am somewhat saddened. I feel as if he has grown up without me. Now while that's not entirely true, it's not entirely UNtrue either. When I left home he was small and only 8. Now, he's 13 and bigger than me with a deep voice. It's kinda random. I wonder what it was like, growing up with your Brother and Sister away...must be different.
From my parents, Joshua scored some nice Ralph Lauren Polos and a dress shirt or two. He also got NCAA 2005 Football to try out. If he likes it, they'll buy it. From Jon, he got two more PS2 games; Rocky and a Tennis game of some kind. From me, he got a new leather study bible. All in all, it was a good birthday for him. We had pizza and ice cream cake and life was good.
After things settled down a bit, I went over to see Shoshannah. She was in a neck brace and her face was, let's say "affected" by the accident. She was lying in a bed in her living room, unable to move and propped up by pillows. I stayed with her for a couple of hours, and I will go back today. I meant to go this morning and watch a movie with her "The First Wives Club," but when I spoke to Mike [her father] this morning, it turns out she had a bad night. At this point, I'm still unable to see her. She had a fever when I left and wasn't doing so well even then, so we'll see. I wrapped up my night with my favorite tacos [as if I needed it, but EL PATO RULES!!] & white chicks with Josh and my dad. Then, constitutional law and sleep. So I guess life's going well here. It's 96 degrees right now and clear as day [hot as hades too, but that's different] and the pink roses my momma's growin' are beautiful. So -
End Transmission
